We created a new L-shaped desk for the renovation of our home office, allowing 2 people to work from home at the same time. Also from wall to wall 2 'blind' made hanging bookshelves.

Large L-desk and floating wall shelves

Choose the IKEA Alex cabinets as the base of the shelves. These are sturdy, have nice depth and height, and are therefore very suitable as a base for a desk. At TOSIZE.at we opted for 28mm pine wood as a desktop because of its strength and 40mm pine wood for the bookshelves on the wall because of its lightness. The desktops have power points for both 220 connections and USB connections. The walls, ceiling, desk tops and bookshelves were painted in the color 'pale pink' from Karwei. The shelves are hung with invisible shelf supports.

The dimensions of the material

Long side of the desk is 288.0 cm. Short side of desk 219.0 cm. Depth of desk on long side is 69.0 cm, depth of desk on short side is 74.0 cm. Bookshelves both 219.0 cm wide and 25.0 cm deep.
