Storage furniture / desk - Ikea hack

I made a storage unit for my son using 2 IKEA smastad chests. I glued a plank of Finnish spruce underlayment onto this. I also glued the sides on. I wanted the 'wood drawing' let it continue downwards. Because I had not entered the length measurement correctly, I had to order the sides a second time. I cut a recess at the back for the skirting board, so that the furniture fits flush against the wall. Finally, I added leather handles. All in all, a nice and spacious storage unit/desk for my son.
