We couldn't find a bench that was narrow and long for our long hallway. We first spoke to a carpenter and he gave us a quote of no less than 3000 euros! But for 200 euros of wood from TOSIZE.at and 100 in extra materials we fixed it ourselves. We are very happy with the result. There will also be a coat rack above that is made of the same material as the seat, but a bit thinner.

How I made this project

I had been wanting to delve into CAD software for a while and this was the perfect opportunity. First I made a rough plan that I then adapted to the sheet material that was immediately available. Once it was delivered and we also bought wooden beams, we milled slots in the beams. A few notches had to be made in the bottom panel, then everything is secured with screws. The base is painted white and the seat has a light stain.
