We were very enthusiastic about the very user-friendly and flexible online configurator from TOSIZE.at, after we used it to create our custom shelving unit in a niche of our living room (see DIY-94179). We then decided to also put together the TV cabinet using this configurator. This would make it a nice match with the shelving unit in terms of design and material. The end result turned out fantastic again, if I say so myself :)!

How I made this project

Of course we started by mapping out the dimensions for the TV cabinet. With those dimensions we started working with the configurator of TOSIZE.at. We wanted to create an L-shaped model, so we designed 2 separate modules that fit together perfectly. In principle, it is a piece of furniture that you place on the floor. We have made a frame ourselves with which you create a recessed plinth so that it "looks" as if it is hanging. The tool actually guides you very easily through the design process and you immediately see the effect on your screen. Sending and paying for the final design went smoothly. We then received an email to check everything again before they started working (Tip: first work out the cabinet in CM and then adapt it to MM for checking). The supplied manual, construction drawing and numbered parts make installation very easy. We are very satisfied with the quality and the final result, really beautiful!
